Some people say that music is a good way of bringing people of different cultures and ages together.
To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?
I rather agree that music brings together people of different cultures and generations, connecting them at a level of feelings. Though, the music also tells about the distinctions, shaping a variety of feeling expressions.
The main reason why I agree with the opinion is that music is a way of expressing love, above all, inherent in all people on Earth. As well, there are all shades of sadness, the depth, power and brightness of feelings understandable for humans regardless of time and geography. The love songs of ancient Greece and of our time are of similar features. So are the Romeo and Juliet kind of songs that had been being sung during the Renaissance and later.
The second reason why I agree is that the very nature of music is social. It is always a desire to express feelings out loud sharing with other people. Even prayer songs, although very personal before God, for example, the Psalms of David, were nevertheless written down and transmitted to people so that they could join in and reach the possibilities concealed in singing.
However, people can see music as a way to express their uniqueness and peculiarity. Therefore, it might look like music separates some people from others. Individual composers, singers and musicians become outstanding for their talent. If this were not so, we could never have distinguished the singing of Andrea Bocelli and the singing of Joe Dassin.
In conclusion, I would like to say that music is a special language of the soul that is characteristic of all people on Earth to express their feelings. So, music ensures the continuity of generations and the kinship of cultures. Music, once perceived as unique and young, eventually becomes classical, smoothing out contradictions, allowing people to enrich their experience.

Il motivo principale per cui sono d'accordo con l'opinione è che la musica è un modo di esprimere l'amore, soprattutto, inerente a tutte le persone sulla Terra.
