Intelligence functions

Elena Buran

The intellect is a living tool for the perception, processing, assimilation and transmission of information. There is nothing on earth more wonderful than the human intellect. And the more detailed the life of a person is learned from his or her actions, the more amazing the work of a living intellect looks. And yet it is the most neglected instrument of a person today. He or she appreciates the hands, the legs, the ability of the head to chew and pronounce words. But use the intellect? Not complete and clear enough.

Take, for example, intuitive people, the number of whom increases now. A few years ago, testing for the functions of consciousness did not reveal as many intuitive people as it does now. Basically, these are children who grow up with a vision of the distant future in the form of a bright, warm spot, this is how intuition sees, because this is an inner feeling. And to get to this bright spot is often possible only through a dark, terrible tunnel, which turns into an abyss in the middle. And they also see a holistic picture of life, often with a second bottom, like the pupil of the eye, they not at all remember well small dates, names and numbers on even shelves, as rational parents and teachers would like, because most of them are rational. And it seems to these parents that they are “right” in everything, not understanding that intuition sees “in the center”, and not “from the right” and not through linear logic. Since there are more and more intuitive children, a crisis of changing the intellectual paradigm with the advent of a new generation is inevitable.

You can tell me that intuition, according to scientists, is a product of the activity of the right anterior region of the brain, so intuitive children should see things "rightly." Not so far. Because the wonderful creation of God in a healthy state strives for balance, perhaps because in the gap between the head and the heart, the pathways cross, and what is in the brain on the right gives signals to the left side of the body and nervous system. And intuition has a "direct connection" with the heart, and this is feelable. Conversely, what adults think of as "right rationalism" is actually a product of the left side of the brain. Ok, the process of thinking covers the entire brain, but there always something dominates, and something sub-dominates. Hence, there is the different brightness of the manifestation of functions. Intuitive children often have "left" instincts no less strong than the "right" thinking of adults. And so, fully integrated thinking works better than simple rational thinking.

In fact, the intellect cannot consist only of the functions of consciousness, that would be too simple. Of course, the formula for intelligence must include both behavior and the level of energy with which the brain and nervous system processes signals. Energy is a kind of battery power. Agree, if intuition is combined with the search activity of behavior, and it is also multiplied by an energy level above the average, then we can well expect that a young person will very actively intuitively search for something in his or her life and work. And this something can be both a value and ways of destroying values. For example, with zero ability to rely on rules, a person will look for ways to get around any rules and laws, look for adventure and thrills. This is how it looks in reality. All these young people who are looking for something in games and adventure films, and even in horror films, are intuitively looking for something, and you wait for the fruits of this search, whether you like them or not.

Nothing can be corrected by rational pressure, rationality is blind in relation to intuition, because rationality does not see feelings, this is a different function. Only phrases hold the integration of the functions of consciousness and attitudes of behavior, charged with energy stronger or weaker, as the phrase expresses the minimum cycle of processing information from perception to expression.

What phrases can express intuitive search activity? And what phrases can express the search for values or anti-values? To answer, we cannot consider the intellect in isolation from its developmental environment, from which the intellect takes information, and to which it gives. And this means that we will discover through phrases the relationship of the intellect with its environment, and it will be either a healthy and balanced intellect in creative cooperation with its environment, or a sick, biased one, confusing search with paranoia, and wisdom with the cunning of manipulation.

Let's restore the image of intelligence from a set of phrases. Take, for example, the sequence of phrases: 1) "Active search comes from the poverty of opportunities", 2) "A bold question overcomes weakness", 3) "The one who asks the strong becomes stronger", 4) "Intervene in the game and win by your own rules", 5) "Who does his true thing easily finds persuasive words", 6) "The wise man comes out of the shadows to win", 7) "Consistency of ideas builds states". This algorithm has a chance of surviving, isn't it? Now what would you say about another set of phrases: 1) “Humble conditions liberate time”, 2) “The situation determines the course of the process”, 3) “Asking is a natural thing”, 4) “Modesty suits only talented people”, 5) “Cunning takes cities”, 6) “Playing without winning becomes regretting mistakes”, 7) “The team plays with inspiration only for the result”. I think that anyone, reading these phrases, can internally see two certain corresponding human images with their types of intellect. They will be different. And I think that some people would not like to face the second type. Other people will avoid the first type with all their might. Why? Such one will interfere with them. And the fight between two types will lead to the second type of crisis - an attempt to roll back the intellectual paradigm shift.

Living intelligence is an amazing creation. It can distinguish danger at minimal signals by reading, for example, these phrases. And so the struggle over phrases today no longer looks like a battle with "windmills", as it did in the time of Don Quixote. And someone will think about the benefits that he or she will receive due to the use of their own set of phrases. The choice of phrases really programs the development and activity of the intellect. And if your child is intuitive, then you will have to use your intuition to understand him better. Then, perhaps, you will avoid a generational crisis. And your child will avoid a crisis of the second type - a rollback. Intuitively choose the best, and let this be witnessed also by rational thinking, since "Ultimate sincerity is the best pragmatism" and "Openness is the measure of strength."
